Lives and works in Guadalajara, Mexico.

She works as a visual artist specializing in painting and engraving. In her work, nature is the main subject of her landscapes, she approaches organic atmospheres, where form and texture inhabit in the same plane. Biology has become essential for her artistic development, it has been an inspiration source that has led to designing biomorphic objects. Her work denotes an appreciation for the abstraction and symmetry found in the organisms that fascinate her. Her work has been shown in several publications, she has had independent shows and her graphic work has been part of multiple collective expositions and artistic collections. Denise founded Gráfica Dionisio, a space where she can work on her art, teach engraving courses and assess other artists to complete their own work.
