Awards / Grants: honorary mention in the Nayarit’s Visual Arts State Price exhibition. / Recipient of PECDA Nayarit (2018 - 2019) / Residence in Aramauca, a contemporary art platform based in San Crístobal de las Casas, Chiapas / Selection for the 19th edition of Rufino Tamayo’s painting biennal.


Yumnia’s pictoric production takes its focus from landscape and the elements and poetic phenomena present in nature. She got a Plastic Arts Bachelor and Arts Master Degree from University of Guanajuato.
